Future secured at Union

The 26-year-old Andrej Ilić has extended his contract with 1. FC Union Berlin for three additional years. The Serbian player, who joined on loan in July 2024, will remain with the club until 2027. In 16 Bundesliga matches for Union, the striker scored seven goals, with his decisive moments in crucial games standing out. He secured the win in the 2-1 away victory against Freiburg, ensuring vital points. Additionally, he scored twice in the 4-4 draw against VfB Stuttgart, stabilizing the team at the Alte Försterei.
