1. FC Union has massively rebuilt after the near-relegation. Oliver Ruhnert and Horst Heldt have rearranged the squad.

What happened?

The transfer market kept 1. FC Union on its toes until the last second. Former manager Oliver Ruhnert and his successor Horst Heldt massively revamped the team after the near-relegation.

Who are the new additions?

At the beginning of the summer, Union was fully on track. The iron premise of signing new players early, so the team can prepare for the new season – and not repeat the mistakes of the previous transfer summer – seemed to be working. After striker Ivan Prtajin, the coveted Ösi center-back Leopold Querfeld signed with the Köpenickers.

What is the current situation?

Currently, D. Preu, M. Raab, and F. Ronnow are injured. | Player | Injury | | D. Preu | injured | | M. Raab | injured | | F. Ronnow | injured |

What comes next?

1. FC Union wants to return to the future. A start has been made, even if not everything worked out. But one thing at a time. With the transfer coup of the clubless and therefore free Robert Skov, the transfer balance is overall positive.
